GNMTC Builds The First Cruise Ship To Be Owned In The Arab World.

A cruise ship new building contract between GNMTC and STX Europe was signed on the 30th of June 2010 at the Rixos Hotel in Tripoli Libya. The contract was signed by Captain Ali Belhag, Chairman of GNMTC and on behalf of STX Europe by Monsier Hardeley, Director General of STX Europe , The event was witnessed on behalf of GNMTC by Captain Hannibal Muammar Gaddafi first Marine consultant of GNMTC, the Secretary of General People's Committee for Transport

EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING HELD ON 3RD of OCTOBER 2009.

At the request of GNMTC an Extraordinary General Assembly was held at 19.00 hours on Saturday 3rd of October 2009, at GNMTC’s Offices in Abounwas, Tripoli, Libya. The President welcomed the assembled members and asked for approval of the agenda, which was duly given. The meeting then went on to discuss the following:

General People's Committee devoted its extraordinary sixth Assembly meeting held at Tripoli on the afternoon of Sunday 27/09/2009 to review the activity and the future plans to develop its fleet.
