GNMTC Chairman today had signed a letter of intent with the General Manager of STX Europe shipbuilder for the Construction of a new 139,400 ton cruise ship to be debut in mid December 2012 .the new cruise ship to be built at The STX Europe ship yard in st.Nazair, France.
The ship will be similar to MSC splendida and MSC fantasia in design and architecture but greater in size and passengers capacity.
The new cruise ship will have 1739 cabins and she will carry about 4000 passengers with the Following main particulars :-
Length overall: 333,33m
Breadth: 37, 92 m
Draft : 8,65m
Gross tonnage : 1 39,400 ton
Number of passengers cabins: 1739 cabins
Number of crew cabins : 732 cabins
